Notes on the PowerPoint
This ppt gives a brief overview of the Newbery Medal and also lists some past winners. Legally I am not allowed to include any images of the Newbery Medal or use book covers from any of the winners. For this reason the ppt only has text. (There is an image of a gold medal on the first slide, but it is an image that is free to use for any purpose). You may edit any part of the ppt (except the background). You may edit the text, add your own, add any images or pictures that you would like or add or delete slides. I used two fonts in the file and embedded them. This means that you can use the same font on all the slides and you do not have to download them to your computer.
