Description

These digital Google slides teach students about hibernation, migration, and animal adaptations. It is perfect for fall or winter and reviews science, reading, and writing standards. Students will work directly in Google Slides™ to complete these interactive and no-prep digital activities.

Students will read eight nonfiction passages about why animals hibernate and migrate. After each passage is a slide with questions for students to answer about the text. There are also graphic organizers and other review activities. Many of the slides have movable pieces so students can interact with the slides in some way.

What is included:

• Slides 1-16: nonfiction reading passages about hibernation and migration. After each passage is a slide asking students to respond to what they read. They will need to insert a text box for most of the questions.
• Slide 17: glossary and a chart of different animal migrations.
• Slides 18 & 19: KWL chart. Students will type their answers into the chart.
• Slide 20: Fact or opinion sort
• Slide 21: True or false sort
• Slide 22: Student matches the animal fact to the animal.
• Slide 23: Student will write a statement about 3 different pictures.
