Figurative language can be difficult for many students to understand. This set of 27 worksheets is perfect for students to use as they practice in learning and identifying seven different types of figurative language.
These worksheets review seven types of figurative language.

Each type of figurative language has two worksheets. The first one has the definition and an example followed by an activity. The second worksheet is a more in-depth activity. I tried to keep the content of the easier and more challenging worksheets similar, making it easier to use with the same class if needed. There is also a review worksheet.
Includes 2 sets of posters. One set has a green background the other has a white background.
