Description
Use this EDITABLE self-checking Google slides game to review the different types of figurative language with your students. The questions are mostly multiple choice. Since it is self-checking, you can send this game out virtually through Google Classroom or other LMS. If students are doing the game at home, you could play it during a Zoom or live lesson. Then as students work through each question you can discuss the answers with them. You can also play it as a whole-group in the classroom or library.
There are 24 questions. All the questions can be changed to suit your needs. Included in the download is a chart of the questions and answers. You MUST follow the instructions in order to edit the questions, otherwise the links may not work correctly.
Types of figurative language reviewed:
- alliteration
- hyperbole
- onomatopoeia
- simile
- metaphor
- idiom
- personification
The preview shows every question slide. Please download it before purchasing.
Many of the questions are the same as the ones found in my Halloween Figurative Language Task Cards.
