Use this EDITABLE self-checking Google Slides game to review the author’s purpose with your students. The questions are all multiple-choice. Since it is self-checking, you can send this game out virtually through Google Classroom or other LMS. If students are doing the game at home, you could play it during a Zoom or live lesson. Then as students work through each question you can discuss the answers with them. You can also play it as a whole-group in the classroom or library.

There are 24 questions. All the questions can be changed to suit your needs. Included in the download is a chart of the questions and answers. You MUST follow the instructions in order to edit the questions, otherwise the links may not work correctly.

Many of the questions are the same as the ones found in my Christmas Print Author’s Purpose Task Cards.
